WARNING, The Woods Silencer™ is not designed to be used as a fall protection device, and it is not designed to be used on any roof at all. The Woods Silencer™ Cover is designed to be used on soft ground by hunters, bird watchers, nature enthusiasts, or anyone wanting to ease through the woods in an ultra-quiet manner.  The optional Stream Walker™ pad is designed to be used in streams. Neither the hunting nor the fishing pad should be used indoors or on streets, sidewalks, steps, ladders, hard or slippery surfaces, or when driving. 
               MOUNTAIN CLAWS™ THE WOODS SILENCER™ ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 
THE SPIKES ARE AN OPTIONAL FEATURE
IF NOT USING THE SPIKES SKIP TO #4.
1.   First, place an individual spike into a silver receptacle on the cover and spin one revolution to start the treads of the spike into its receptacle.       Be very careful as the spikes are pointed and sharp!! 
2.   Use the plastic wrench tool to tighten the spike until snug. Do not overtighten the spike. This could result in damage to your cover. Hold the wrench tool by the plastic top.     Do not allow your fingers to rest on the metal spikes of the wrench as injury may occur. 
3.   Repeat each of the previous steps until all spikes are in place. 
4.   Locate both hunting pads or fishing pads and Identify the Left pad and Right pad. 
5.   Match the Left pad (hunting or fishing) to the Left Spike Cover and align the Velcro surfaces.       Make sure the Hunting or Fishing Pad toe is aligned with the Hunting Spike Cover toe while ensuring the heels of the two pieces are also aligned and carefully push the (Hunting/Fishing) Pad onto the Woods Silencer™ Spike Cover with caution not to press directly on one of the spikes as injury is possible. Apply pressure to either side of a spike (IF USING) to ensure it penetrates the pad and the Velcro surfaces contact to lock the pad into position on the Hunting Spike Cover. 

WARNING! INSPECT THE SPIKE COVER BEFORE EACH USE TO ENSURE THAT ALL SPIKES ARE SNUG AND NONE ARE MISSING. INSPECT THE RUBBER PORTION OF THE COVER TO ENSURE IT IS INTACT. IF ANY PORTION OF THE RUBBER COVER IS BROKEN OR DAMAGED, INCLUDING SPIKES AND STRAPS, IT SHOULD BE REPLACED IMMEDIATELY. FAILURE TO REPLACE A DAMAGED SPIKE COVER COULD RESULT IN A LOSS OF FOOTING WHICH CAN LEAD TO SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CLIMB INTO OR ONTO ANY OBJECT OR EQUIPMENT, INCLUDING A TREE STAND, ELEVATED BLIND, PLATFORM STAND, TRIPOD STAND, OR ANY OTHER TYPE OF HUNTING EQUIPMENT THAT REQIRES CLIMBING STAIRS OR STEEP / VERTICLE STEPS. ONLY USE THE SPIKE COVER ON SOFT GROUND. IF USING SPIKES, DO NOT WALK ON ANY HARD OR SLIPPERY SURFACES SUCH AS ROCKS, ICE, CONCRETE, FLOORING, ASPHALT, ETC. AS THIS MAY RESULT IN A LOSS OF FOOTING WHICH CAN LEAD TO SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH. 

NOTWITHSTANDING ANY STATEMENT TO THE CONTRARY: (A) THE MANUFACTURER DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES, BOTH EXPRESS AND IMPLIED, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW; (B) THE MANUFACTURER’S AND SELLER’S AGGREGATE RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY, WHETHER ARISING OUT OF CONTRACT OR TORT, INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, AND BREACH OF WARRANTY, SHALL NOT EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE WOOD SILENCER PRODUCT AND SHALL BE LIMITTED TO REPLACEMENT OF THE PRODUCT; AND (c) IN NO EVENT SHALL MANUFACTURER OR SELLER BE LIABILE IN CONTRACT, WARRANTY, OR TORT, INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, FOR ANY SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION OF ANY KIND OR CHARACTER.
